Our interdisciplinary team is composed of members from the fields of disaster sociology, geography, psychology, communication sciences, economics, political science and cultural anthropology. It combines scientific expertise in the fields of disaster, security, conflict and sustainability research. It also draws on practical experience with authorities and organisations with security tasks, humanitarian aid and work in international and intercultural development contexts.
